LayBakPak at Greenwich Market.

LayBakPak’s first few days at Greenwich Market last week were great fun. It was so good to be out meeting people again, especially in such a vibrant and exciting place. We’re hoping to fit in a couple more days before Christmas.

There’s a lot to browse and enjoy at the market: arts and crafts; lifestyle; antiques and collectables and much more. The team at Greenwich Market actively encourages creativity and originality. LayBakPak certainly felt unique even among such a huge array of products.

As well as uniqueness of products, UK designers and makers are prioritised. That was another tick for us and it was great to see so many brilliant UK based creators there.

Plus the street food on offer was excellent.

Greenwich Market.

The fact that Greenwich Market is housed in such a distinctive building also makes it well worth a visit. An entry on each of the four sides makes it easy to move through the market and it’s great that everyone can be under cover.

With the Royal Observatory and Cutty Sark close by, it’s no surprise that many overseas visitors as well as local residents come to the market.

As stall holders we were made to feel very welcome and hope to be there at least once a week.

It’s looking very festive with Christmas lights and decorations.
